With two qualifying rounds gone in this year's Women's FA Cup, KIKK have been doing more goal-gorging than a footballing hungry hippo. The first qualifying round on September 21 saw a 7-0 demolition of Eastern Region Premier Division side Haringey Borough and last Sunday saw an unfortunate Battersea and Wandsworth team on the receiving end of the team's most imperious performance of the season so far in a 9-0 steamrollering. Just five minutes were on the clock when some neat build-up play saw Connie score with an instinctive first-time fizzer from outside the area and from that point on B+W could not cope with the wave upon wave of attacks. Sophie M scored four including a fine header, Sophie L got two with potentially the goal of the game her volley from Becky's cross, and Becky and Simone also got on the score-sheet with sharp strikes. Francesca P didn't cap her last game for the club with a goal but she did everything else in a stellar farewell performance before she heads overseas. The team now face the challenge of a tough South-East Combination side, Luton Town in the third qualifying round tie at home at Mile End Park Stadium on November 3.
